Walk with me...
Today the whole clan headed to the city in search of a kimono. Even though Staten Island is technically a part of New York City, you won't find any Islander saying "Manhattan". It is, and always will be, "the city" to us. Manhattan gave us 43 cents in the form of two nickels and thirty three pennies. We actually had better luck in Staten Island. Dunkin' Donuts provided us with 0.16 cents in the form of a dime and six pennies during our morning java run. Hubby also gave me 16 cents he'd found a few days ago. I am adding it now.
I'll update more later once I can feel my feet (we walked from the ferry to the village. Here are the mapquest directions:
